Die RSK setzte die Beratung der Stellungnahme "Anforderungen an die Nachweisführung zur passiven Kühlung von Brennelementen im Lagerbecken" fort und wurde über den Beratungsstand der Stellungnahme "Prüf- und Instandhaltungstätigkeiten bei Mitte-Loop-Betrieb" des Ausschusses RB informiert. Anhand der zur Kommentierung veröffentlichten BfE-Forschungsagenda und -strategie wurde das Thema "Grundsätzliche Ausrichtung der Forschung im Bereich Reaktorsicherheit in deland" insbesondere für den Zeitraum nach 2022 diskutiert.

Zum Vorsitzenden der RSK wurde Herr Rudolf Wieland, zum stellvertretenden Vorsitzenden Herr Richard Donderer berufen. Die RSK rief die AG "Neue Reaktorkonzepte" ins Leben, um sich über die verschiedenen derzeit weltweit verfolgten Reaktorkonzepte und deren Beratungsrelevanz für deland zu informieren. Fortgesetzt wurde die Beratung der Stellungnahme "Anforderungen an die Nachweisführung zur passiven Kühlung von Brennelementen im Lagerbecken".

The RSK discussed the statements on irregularities in the performance of in-service inspections/non-compliance with regulations in the KKP plant - dealing with these and similar events (Auffälligkeiten bei der Durchführung von WKP/Nichtbeachtung von Regelungen in der Anlage KKP - Befassung mit diesen und ähnlichen Ereignissen) and on closed loop cooling water and service water systems (Zwischen- und Nebenkühlsysteme).

The RSK discussed the experiences with the RSK statement on the Belgian nuclear power plants Doel-3 and Tihange-2 as well as the future role and task of the RSK after 2022. The RSK was informed about the following: sheared and bent bolts at ventilation duct supports, findings of eddy current tests on steam generator heating pipes at the Neckarwestheim nuclear power plant (GKN II) as well as a reactor trip at the Dutch nuclear power plant Borssele. The consultation on the statement on closed loop cooling water and service water systems (Zwischen- und Nebenkühlsysteme) was continued.

The RSK was informed by the Committee on Pressure-Retaining Components and Materials (DKW) about the first results of consultations on the , findings of eddy current tests on steam generator heating pipes the Neckarwestheim nuclear power plant (GKN II).

The RSK informed itself about the impact of the precipitation/flood event of 14/15 July 2021 on the infrastructure. It discussed the recommendation "Lessons learned in dealing with the corona pandemic - methods of remote supervision/inspection" in its first reading.

Die RSK beriet und verabschiedete die "Zusammenfassende Stellungnahme der RSK zu zivilisatorisch bedingten Einwirkungen, Flugzeugabsturz" sowie die Empfehlung "Erfahrungen im Umgang mit der Corona-Pandemie – Methoden der Fernaufsicht/-inspektion".

The RSK discussed and adopted the "Summary statement of the RSK on man-made hazards, aircraft crash" and the recommendation "Lessons learned in dealing with the corona pandemic - methods of remote supervision/inspection"

The RSK was informed, among other things, about the progress of the consultations on reportable event ME 20/002 (F) "Annual licenced value for the discharge of the nuclide C-14 exceeded" at the FRM-II research reactor of 14 May 2020 and the consultations on reportable event ME 18/058 "Linear indications during eddy current testing of steam generator tubes" at the GKN-II nuclear power plant (9 September 2018) in the Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB).

The RSK was informed about the consultation on reportable event ME 20/002 (F) "Annual licenced value for the discharge of the nuclide C-14 exceeded" at the FRM-II research reactor of 14 May 2020 in the Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB) and about the state of affairs in the working group on simulation pins.

The statement on requirements for the cooling of the fuel assemblies in the spent fuel pool during residual operation (Stellungnahme zu Anforderungen ab die Kühlung der Brennelemente im Lagerbecken im Restbetrieb) was discussed and adopted.
