The BMUB welcomed the new RSK members and received proposals of the RSK regarding the chairman and his deputy. A working group was set up to review the implementation of RSK recommendations in the German research reactors.

At the meeting, the status of RSK participation in the consultations on various KTA safety standards was presented. Report was given to the RSK on current consultations within its committees. The consultations on the statement on requirements for LOCA analyses using statistical methods (Anforderungen an die statistische Nachweisführung bei Kühlmittelverluststörfall-Analysen) were continued.

The RSK was informed of the results of the 69th meeting of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA). Note was taken of the statement of the RSK Committee on PLANT AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (AST) on the "Formation and effects of an unborated water plug during steam generator tube rupture" (in German). The consultations on the statement on neutron flux oscillations, deformations of fuel assemblies, damage to cladding tubes, spacers, hold-down springs and alignment pins have been completed, editorial amendments are to follow.

The comments on the draft IAEA DS 460 “Communication and Consultation with Interested Parties by the Regulatory Body” were submitted to the BMUB and the voting on the resolution proposals of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA) (preparation of the 69th KTA meeting on 11.11.2014) was determined. The consultations on the statement neutron flux oscillations, deformations of fuel assemblies, damage to cladding tubes, spacers, hold-down springs and alignment pins were continued.

Der RSK-Ausschuss REAKTORBETRIEB (RB) informierte die RSK über seine Vorschläge zur Überarbeitung der AtSMV bzw. der Erläuterungen zur AtSMV (AtSMV= Atomrechtliche Sicherheitsbeauftragten- und Meldeverordnung).

The RSK Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB) informed the RSK about its proposals for the revision of the AtSMV (Atomrechtliche Sicherheitsbeauftragten- und Meldeverordnung – Nuclear Safety Officer and Reporting Ordinance) and the explanatory notes on the AtSMV.

Die RSK wurde über die Ergebnisse der 69. Sitzung des KTA unterrichtet. Die Stellungnahme des RSK-Ausschusses ANLAGEN- UND SYSTEMTECHNIK zur „Ausbildung und Auswirkungen eines Deionatpfropfens beim Dampferzeugerheizrohrleck" wurde zur Kenntnis genommen. Die Beratung der Stellungnahmen "Neutronenflussschwankungen, Verformungen von Brennelementen; Schäden an Hüllrohren, Abstandshaltern, Niederhaltefedern und Zentrierstiften" wurde abgeschlossen, es folgt noch eine redaktionelle Anpassung.

Die Beratungen der Stellungnahmen "Scheibenübergreifende Unverfügbarkeiten aufgrund elektrischer Kopplungen zwischen redundanten Scheiben des Notstromsystems deer Kernkraftwerke" und "Neutronenflussschwankungen, Verformungen von Brennelementen; Schäden an Hüllrohren, Abstandshaltern, Niederhaltefedern und Zentrierstiften" wurden begonnen.

The consultation on the statements on section-wide unavailabilities due to electrical coupling between redundant sections of the emergency power system of German nuclear power plants and on neutron flux oscillations, deformations of fuel assemblies, damage to cladding tubes, spacers, hold-down springs and alignment pins were started. The draft statement on inspection methods for installation and installation situation of anchors and ensuring the required load transfer was referred to the Committee on PRESSURE-RETAINING COMPONENTS AND MATERIALS (DKW) for revision.

In der Sitzung wurde der Stand der RSK-Beteiligung an der Beratung verschiedener KTA-Regeln vorgestellt. Der RSK wurde zu aktuellen Beratungen in ihren Ausschüssen berichtet. Die Beratung der Stellungnahme "Anforderungen an die statistische Nachweisführung bei Kühlmittelverluststörfall-Analysen" wurde fortgesetzt.
