The RSK was informed about the consultation on reportable event ME 20/002 (F) "Annual licenced value for the discharge of the nuclide C-14 exceeded" at the FRM-II research reactor of 14 May 2020 in the Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB) and about the state of affairs in the working group on simulation pins.

The statement on requirements for the cooling of the fuel assemblies in the spent fuel pool during residual operation (Stellungnahme zu Anforderungen ab die Kühlung der Brennelemente im Lagerbecken im Restbetrieb) was discussed and adopted.

The RSK was informed, among other things, about the progress of the consultations on reportable event ME 20/002 (F) "Annual licenced value for the discharge of the nuclide C-14 exceeded" at the FRM-II research reactor of 14 May 2020 and the consultations on reportable event ME 18/058 "Linear indications during eddy current testing of steam generator tubes" at the GKN-II nuclear power plant (9 September 2018) in the Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB).

Die RSK beriet und verabschiedete die "Zusammenfassende Stellungnahme der RSK zu zivilisatorisch bedingten Einwirkungen, Flugzeugabsturz" sowie die Empfehlung "Erfahrungen im Umgang mit der Corona-Pandemie – Methoden der Fernaufsicht/-inspektion".

The RSK informed itself about the impact of the precipitation/flood event of 14/15 July 2021 on the infrastructure. It discussed the recommendation "Lessons learned in dealing with the corona pandemic - methods of remote supervision/inspection" in its first reading.

Die RSK informierte sich über die Auswirkungen des Niederschlags-/Hochwasserereignisses vom 14./15.07.2021 auf die Infrastruktur. Sie beriet in erster Lesung die Empfehlung "Erfahrungen im Umgang mit der Corona-Pandemie – Methoden der Fernaufsicht/-inspektion".

The RSK was informed about the consultations on reportable event ME 17/037 “Indications during eddy current testing of steam generator heating tubes” in GKN II and reportable event ME 20/002 (F) “Annual licenced value for the discharge of the nuclide C-14 exceeded” at the FRM-II research reactor in the RSK Committee on REACTOR OPERATION (RB). The RSK's summary statement on man-made hazards, aircraft crash, was discussed. The consultations will be continued at the next but one meeting.

The RSK was informed about the respective state of consultations in the working groups on aircraft crash, remote inspection, decommissioning licensing and fuel cladding corrosion. The RSK Committee on Pressure-Retaining Components and Materials (DKW) reported on research results related to SG tubes. The FORATOM "European Guideline on the Use of High-Quality Industrial Grade Items in Nuclear Installations" was discussed with regard to necessary consultations within the RSK.

Die RSK wurde über die Beratungen zum ME 17/037 „Anzeigen bei Wirbelstromprüfung von Dampferzeugerheizrohren“ in GKN II und ME 20/002 (F) „Überschreitung des Jahresgenehmigungswertes für die Ableitung des Nuklids 14C“ im FRM-II im RSK-Ausschuss REAKTORBETRIEB (RB) informiert. Die zusammenfassende Stellungnahme der RSK zu zivilisatorisch bedingten Einwirkungen, Flugzeugabsturz, wurde beraten. Die Beratung wird in der übernächsten Sitzung fortgesetzt.

Die RSK wurde über den jeweiligen Beratungsstand in den Arbeitsgruppen Flugzeugabsturz, Ferninspektion, Stilllegungsgenehmigung und Hüllrohrkorrosion informiert. Vom RSK-Ausschuss Druckführende Komponenten und Werkstoffe (DKW) wurde über Forschungsergebnisse mit Bezug zu DE-Heizrohren berichtet. Der FORATOM „European Guideline on the Use of High-Quality Industrial Grade Items in Nuclear Installations" wurde im Hinblick auf eine notwendige Beratung in der RSK diskutiert.

Mr Rudolf Wieland was appointed as Chairman of the RSK, Mr Richard Donderer as Vice Chairman.

The RSK was informed about the occurrence of high activity in the main steam line at the Finnish BWR plant Olkiluoto 2 on 10 December 2020. The draft of statutes valid from 2023 was presented.
