The BMUB presented the request for advice on spent fuel pool cooling during plant decommissioning. The consultations are to be carried out by the RSK Committee on PLANT AND SYSTEMS ENGINEERING (AST). The RSK was informed about the German-Belgian expert meeting on the topic of RPV in Doel-3/Tihange-2 on 02.02.2018 and continued its consultation on the statement on component cooling water and service water systems (Zwischen- und Nebenkühlwassersysteme).
