The RSK was informed by the BMUB about the development and revision process for IAEA safety standards. The RSK was also informed about the reportable events concerning increased oxide layer thickness on fuel rod cladding tubes of fuel assemblies (Erhöhte Oxidschichtdicke an Brennstab-Hüllrohren von Brennelementen) and a faulty test signal in the standard test locking of the reactor protection system (Fehlerhaftes Prüfsignal in der Standardprüfverriegelung des Reaktorschutzsystems) in the Brokdorf nuclear power plant. The consultations on the boundary conditions for design basis accident analyses (Randbedingungen der Nachweisführung zur Störfallbeherrschung) were continued.
