• Summary Report of the 397th RSK Meeting

    The RSK and the BMU jointly discussed the first findings from the discussions started of the RSK working groups which dealt with the draft modules of Revision B of the new revised nuclear rules and regulations. This consultation shall focus on the judgement whether these are rules and regulations were appropriate and described the state of the art adequately; proposals on the structure of the rules and regulations were to be considered in the judgement as far as deemed necessary from the safety point of view.

    Die RSK beriet und beschloss ihr Votum zu den auf der 60. Sitzung des Kerntechnischen Ausschusses (KTA) anstehenden Beschlussvorlagen über KTA-Regeln.

    Für die vom BMU erbetene Stellungnahme zum Entwurf eines neuen aktualisierten kerntechnischen Regelwerks stellte die RSK ihre Prüfkriterien fertig, die die eingerichteten Arbeitsgruppen ihrer Bewertung der verschiedenen Modulentwürfe zu Grunde legen sollen (392. RSK-Sitzung).

  • Summary Report of the 396th RSK Meeting

    The RSK discussed and passed its vote on the resolution documents on KTA standards to be dealt at the 60th meeting of the Nuclear Safety Standards Commission (KTA).

    For the statement on the draft of new revised nuclear rules and regulations, requested by the BMU, the RSK completed its review criteria to be applied by the working groups established in their assessment of the different draft modules (392nd RSK meeting).

    Aus aktuellem Anlass führte die RSK eine erste Erörterung des Vorkommnisses in der schwedischen Anlage Forsmark 1 durch. Anhand eines Berichts der GRS und der dem BMU vorliegenden Erkenntnisse bereitete die RSK Fragestellungen vor, die der RSK-Ausschuss ELEKTRISCHE EINRICHTUNGEN mit dem Ziel bearbeiten soll, über die schaltungstechnischen Sachverhalte hinaus alle Störfaktoren und deren Auswirkungen auf die Eigenbedarfs- bzw. Notstromanlagen zu analysieren.

  • Summary Report of the 392nd RSK Meeting

    At this meeting, the prevailing topic of discussions was the further proceeding regarding the project on update of the nuclear rules and regulations of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) after its follow-up (module Version B) on the basis of the workshop series. The RSK agreed on a proceeding with five working groups which primarily review different module topics by means of an assessment catalogue. Their results shall be compiled for the RSK.

    At the 384th meeting on 07.07.2005, the RSK discussed and adopted the statements prepared by its Committee on
    PLANT- AND SYSTEMS-ENGINEERING (AST) - "Switch-off of the main coolant pumps during ATWS events at nuclear power plants with pressurised water reactor" (in German) which includes some new stipulations compared to the statement "ATWS events" (of the RSK of 03.05.2001, 340th meeting),

  • Summary Report of the 378th RSK Meeting

    The RSK discussed the nuclear-specific safety-related questions of a capacity increase of the uranium enrichment facility in Gronau applied for especially regarding the question to which extent the technical and organisational measures provided are in compliance with the state of the art in science and technology. On this issue, a draft of a statement was available which included the review results of the Committee on SUPPLY AND WASTE HANDLING (VE) and gave answers to the questions posed by the BMU.
