Die RSK beriet die Weiterleitungsnachricht 2020/03 „Schäden an Kranlaufrädern in den Kernkraftwerken Biblis-B und Unterweser".

Die Beratung der "Stellungnahme zu Anforderungen ab die Kühlung der Brennelemente im Lagerbecken im Restbetrieb" wurde fortgesetzt.

This meeting was held as a web conference due to the impact of the Corona pandemic. In the meantime, the RSK had discussed the impacts of the pandemic on the operation and planned overall maintenance inspections of the nuclear power plants among the CORONA ad-hoc working group. The RSK discussed and adopted the statement "Statement on pending safety issues with regard to fuel assembly deformation in German pressurised water reactors (PWRs)".

Die RSK wurde u. a. zu folgenden Themen informiert:

Kernbeladungen und Inspektionen in den noch in Betrieb befindlichen Anlagen
Netzstabilitäten und Rückwirkungen auf die Kernkraftwerke
Wirbelstrombefunde an BE-Steuerelementen
Dampferzeugerheizrohrbefunde in GKN-II
Leistungsexkursionen bei Steuerstabtests vor dem Wiederanfahren der südkoreanischen Anlage Hanbit-1

Mr. Rudolf Wieland was appointed as Chairman of the RSK and Mr. Richard Donderer as Vice Chairman. The recommendation "Increased oxide layer thicknesses in the upper part of fuel assemblies with M5 cladding tubes" was discussed and adopted, the discussion of the recommendation "Specifying requirements for a statistical LOCA analysis" was started.

Among other things, the RSK was informed about the results of the 73rd meeting of the Nuclear Safety Standards Committee (KTA) on 12 November 2019 as well as about the earthquake in the municipality of Le Teil (France) on 11 November 2019 and the impacts known so far on the French nuclear power plants located in the vicinity. The commission members discussed and adopted the statement "Closed cooling water and service water systems".

Diese Sitzung fand aufgrund der Auswirkungen der Corona-Pandemie als Webkonferenz statt. Die RSK hatte zwischenzeitlich in der Ad-hoc AG CORONA die Auswirkungen der Pandemie auf den Betrieb und die geplanten Revisionen der Kernkraftwerke beraten. Die RSK beriet und verabschiedete die Stellungnahme "Stellungnahme zu noch offenen sicherheitstechnischen Fragen im Hinblick auf Verformungen von Brennelementen in deen Druckwasserreaktoren (DWR)".
